Fenomenale Andrew!!! Ai mondiali di Atletica di Osaka, in Giappone, in corso di svolgimento in questi giorni, oggi Andrew è riuscito a conquistare un incredibile secondo posto che lo qualificano come vicecampione mondiale. Incredibile per un ragazzo di soli 22 anni! Questo argento porta con sè una misura portentosa, 8,47 metri; misura che ora è il nuovo record italiano! Come se non bastasse, il reatino, è riuscito a stabilire questa straordinaria misura nell'ultimo salto. Ciò denota una grandissima forza mentale, che ha scacciato la pressione di una situazione che in quel momento non gli era favorevole. Andrew infatti, al quinto e penultimo salto, era soltanto quarto, a ben 27 centimetri dalla medaglia d'oro. Beh, chiunque non fosse un fenomeno, un predestinato, sarebbe crollato sotto il peso di una nazione come l'Italia che puntava tutto su di lui per un medaglia, ma Andrew ha tirato fuori le palle (passatemi il termine, ma è proprio ciò che ha fatto, non si può dire ha mostrato gli attributi, sarebbe riduttivo) e ha piazzato il salto della vita (per ora). 8,47m, primo posto a gara quasi finita e nuovo record italiano. Vi giuro che non mi esaltavo così e non saltavo sù dalla sedia in questo modo dalla vittroria dell'Italia ai mondiali. Andrew è scatenato, si strappa i numeri di gara, mostra i potenti muscoli e urla alla telecamera invasato : "I'm the man! I'm the best! That's right! That's right!". Grande nel salto, grandissimo nell'esultanza :D. Purtoppo la gara non è finita. Il favorito, il panamense Irving Saladino, ha ancora l'ultimo salto. Da campione affermato qual'è, piazza con impressionante facilità un 8 e 57, 10 cm in più di Andrew, come a dire: "Beh, mi hai provocato...". Nulla da dire, Saladino per ora è il numero uno, ma il futuro è nelle mani di Andrew, che a Pechino proverà anche i 200m. Se gli riescono come il salto in lungo, abbiamo due podi al sicuro. Da anni questo ragazzo è additato come un predestinato e vive con addosso la pressione dell'atletica italiana. Abbiamo visto molti bambini prodigio scoppiare perchè non hanno resistito, Andrew no, anzi, ha vinto gli Europei l'anno scorso e adesso è vicecampione mondiale, oltre ad aver stravinto da juniores con una serie infinita di record. Che dire, è un pò come Rooney o Messi...solo che lui ha vinto molto di più...:D non diciamo che è il nuovo Carl Lewis, lo diremo, se sarà il caso, a Pechino. Forza Andrew, vero fenomeno Italiano.
